Importance of Clear Values
Our choices are determined by our values.
Values are more than just a statement of what we think we believe. They are the inner determinants of our behavior. Therefore, the best way to identify our values is to observe what we do rather than what we say.
Even when they are unconscious, values are equally effective. Problems arise when two or more values are in conflict with each other and determine inconsistent behavior.
To avoid inconsistencies and to ensure that all our members understand how we operate and the type of behavior we encourage, we have clearly defined our values and use them as guidelines for our ministries.
