We meet regularly in homes throughout the city. We have restored the "house to house" ministry as practiced by the early church. Our Spiritula Growth Groups are more than Bible study meetings. Our groups are:
By encouraging acceptance and a loving attitude, we foster in the members of our Groups lasting friendships and commitment to each other.
Our groupl leaders are chosen for their commitment to the ministry. They have been properly trained and are continuously coached to refine their leadership skills.
You are invited to visit one of our groups to experience the love of God and His transforming power.
Prayer is a foundational part of the church. We are re-organizing our prayer ministry to allow a greater personal and congregational participation.
Discipleship is more than taking a few courses or Bible studies. It's a way of life. Jesus instructed us to make disciples and that involves helping people to learn to follow Jesus footsteps and embrace His lifestyle of service. Many Christians have not yet made this kind of commitment and cannot experience the joy of the abundant life that Jesus has promised.
We have established a unique and effective discipleship approach to guide and help believers to grow into mature disciples.
Disciples cannot be made on an assembly line. Our approach includes a curriculum, personal mentoring and hands on ministry.
Find out why others are experiencing amazing spiritual breakthroughs. It takes some effort, but you can do it too.
Reaching out with the gospel is a priority for our church. Outreach, when done in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, becomes a very exciting and joyous experience. We have developed an effective training program for our members to transform then in skilled "fishers of men." You too can make an eternal impact on many lives by reaching our and spreading God's kingdom.
The Great Commission was Jesus' final message. It shows that every believer can and should learn how witness, evangelize and lead people to the Lord. New converts are no exception. Actually, they are the richest source of people needing salvation. But, to avoid mistakes due to their lack of experience, we train and support them with the help of more mature believers. In this way they learn how to minister the gospel and do not become discouraged and give up as many do.
Witnessing and personal evangelism are essential for spiritual development. They are an integral part of our discipleship program.
Children are a priority at Mount Zion Church. We want them to grow into strong and balanced adults by understanding and experiencing the power of a Spirit-filled life.
We have developed an effective ministry to children that enhances the learning process by involvement and interaction. As children participate in group discussions projects, instructional games and creative activities, they learn and retain without effort the spiritual content of the lessons.
Children can better learn spiritual values and principles in a motivating and fun environment. We want to elicit in them the joy of learning.
The training and cooperation of parents and workers enables us to develop original and interesting material that utilizes a diversity of skills. We give attention to the needs and learning style, and develop the gifts of each child.
The involvement of parents in the Children Ministry ensures that the children are exposed to a large segment of the congregation and increase their sense of belonging.
The Sunday encounters are complemented by a variety of activities that the children do at home, independently and in group.

Worship is more than music. It is an expression of our gratitude, respect and love towards God. It is an enjoyable and edifying experience we practice individually and collectively, as we assemble.
Music powerfully communicate our attitude and feelings. For this reason, although we greatly appreciate musical talent and skill, we believe that the spiritual conditions, attitude and feelings of those who lead the worship are even more important.
Further, today, much worship is performance oriented and man centered entertainment. No matter how engaging that may be, it misses its purpose. Our objective is to bring the whole congregation to worship God in spirit and in truth.
Presently we have three worship teams that take turns leading our Sunday Service. Each team is directed by a Worship Leader who, together with the pastor, determine the worship services selections and the general direction of the Worship Minisry.
The Worship Teams come together weekly to practice for the services and monthly to pray, discuss and plan worship ministry activities. We welcome any of our member with musical inclination and willing to regularly participate in the practice and team meetings to join our Worship Ministry. To do so, contact a Worship Leader.
